The journalist/editor didn’t even bother with a line like “we asked the school board to comment but has not received a response at press time.”

The principal resigned from the school in November 2024. This article from around that time provides a bit more detail. The school didn’t really say much.

The school is in the Cincinnati area. I wonder if @mik has any more details.

I know Rob Burnside personally. He was the principal at the high school my daughter taught at before he was at Lakota East. A great guy.

As an adult I was in the office of a high school principal long ago. Cracking down on the kids was what he was talking about. Punishment was obviously was motivated him. Education was not on his mind. I think Burnside is an exceptional principal.
