This is great. It's like thinking recycling plastic will save the oceans. The problem is out of control. Plastic doesn't only wash up on beaches in South East Asia. It washes up on beaches on Hawaii Island. There's no way for the U.S. to stop it. How are much poorer countries going to stop it?

Off topic, but this reminds me of Kendal Jenner's Pepsi commercial.
It was one of the worst commercials of all time.
The irony is they pulled Madonna's Pepsi commercial.
They can't win for loosing.
In fairness, the Catholic League was more powerful back then.
Kendall Jenner still has the energy of the juvenile delinquent she used to be.
Her acting skills didn't stand up to doing a Pepsi commercial.
She reminds me of a large eyed insect.
She never would have been a model in my day.

No, it's due to the English being rather unsystematic and undisciplined when it comes to spelling. (Or just behind the times as it was developed when most people haven't learnt to think logically when it comes to creating a writing system.) The Malay language, for example, absorbed many foreign words too, yet its spelling is quite systematic and easy.
