Well, sometimes people do go in-Seine.

It was closed to swimming today. It rained and the sewer system overflowed. Not surprisingly that raised bacteria counts big time.

We used to buy apples and warm apple fritters at Richmond Orchards, but they closed quite a while back.

I skied the Mississippi River when I was a kid. I was skiing when my brother was pulling me in the big waves behind the barges and broke the boat in halves. Fun times when pollution was not a common word.
