Sitting in the lot waiting for opening at 9. It’s usually jam packed during the day, so this is refreshing.

    Any great finds?

Not a new product, but we recently bought some of the liver pate with truffles. We'd forgotten how much we love it. On fresh bread with some of those spicy pickled skewers I posted about yesterday (Costco). Num.

And I bought some Shropshire Blue cheese. I think that's a new product for them.

I assume you have your wine list. 🍷

I’m a fan of the Mediterranean Hummus.

Several wines..didn't see the hummus, some charcuterie, butter chicken, Thai green curry, frozen rice medley, mushrooms, multicolor carrots, chicken thighs. SO much fun when it's not crowded.

Our TJ is in one of those modern shopping malls that’s supposed to look like a small town but isn’t. Street parking is always full and the parking structures don’t really fit my truck so I rarely go there even though I like their stuff.

But now I may have to go back. Looks like TJ has taken the lead as far as cleaning up the ingredients used in their packaged foods. The curry and the butter chicken both have remarkably sensible lists of ingredients and sound like things I need to try.

I’ll just have to borrow Sharon’s car. 😎

Ours is the opposite. It's TJs and a bridal shop, with a relatively small parking area. Always packed.

And you're right - both dishes you mention have only ingredients that I recognize as food in their own right. Well, the curry has a little maltodextrin in it, but that's it.

Mr wtg loves the butter chicken. And I'm a fan of the palak paneer.
