@AndyD No, I'm pretty sure that the back part is her house. Yeah, it looks pretty iffy and I wonder what it's like in the winter! The weather there would be pretty much the same as here, hovering around 0F many days in wintertime. Maybe it's all patched up and insulated but can't see that.

I haven't quite reached the age when houseproofing and a pretty painted front door is not important.
It does happen frequently, from ages around 70 onwards.
The attitude being 'it's not that important, the next owner will fix it how they like it'.Love the bread. She must sell all but a couple of loaves.
