Well, HR departments have legal ways to effectively blacklist what would seemingly otherwise be excellent job prospects with the effect being many people can't even get called in for interview and have no way to tell themselves the reason why.
You don't need AI to mess up your job prospects, although I don't doubt it does it's fair share of damage.
