Sartorial virtuosity

Japan. Most of the videos on this channel are Hispanic/ cowboy theme.
Link to videoThis reminds me of something Isabella Rossellini said about modeling. She said it required intelligence. 100% right.
It also reminds me of an interview of Madonna by a Scandinavian journalist. She didn't hide the fact she found him annoying. He said at one point she was a model. She retorted-- "A model?" in a dismissive voice. 100% wrong.
She modeled for many of the truly great photographers for decades.
One thing I'd like to is to post is my favorite photograraphs of her in chronological order or link to them if copyright is an issue.
These photographs were of course used for for various purposes and projects. I mainly interested in the magazine covers with each ones included photographs.
I had a dorm mate in B-dorm on the Charles Ringling estate who had her walls plastered with pictures of Isabella Rossellini. It was basically aies shrine to her.
I asked her once whether she liked the mother or the daughter best. Her answer was interesting. She said the mother with hesitation.
We lost contact after a series of phone calls seven years before I left HI. I miss her and an trying to locate her.
So back in the day there was only the small B-dorm and the Pei dorm complex on the other side of 41.
The two sides of the campus are connected by a pedestrian bridge over 41. Pei is the famous architect who also built the Louvre pyramid.
So I moved to the Pei dorms after a year. I had
my own room. I hosted countless weekend parties there. The main parties on Saturday and Sunday nights were called "Walls" that was a reference to the walls at a height meant for sitting surrounded Palm Court an ornamental garden with palm trees organized in a geometric pattern.
I went to all of them and my room became a meeting place for many people mostly very beautiful women for whatever reason.
Anyway, I tore the cover off with my favorite Madonna Vogue cover and taped it in my bathroom. It was kind of a joke obviously.
Well, none of the students said a word about it, but a couple from town who were visiting had an interesting reaction to it.
One went in the bathroom the woman and then made the man come in and look at. They were having some reaction to but I can't say exactly what is was because they were whispering. They clearly thought it was remarkable and seemed to think it was amusing.
I thought their reaction was great fun. Maybe they understand my gesture better than the ones who saw it but ignored it.
Actual modeling for stills or walking is a performative art and highly underrated.
