      That character was fabulously irritating and proved the quote "All you need are good manners, everything else is frippery and snobbery".

      Hetty Wainthrop Investigates was also fab in its North of England way, that wonderful trumpet music (I tried to play it on the piano after each episode)

          I liked Hetty Wainthrop. Was not a fan of Hyacinth.

            Her DVDs are mostly out of stock and some are trying to sell sets that were 20 quid for 200!
