Fair and balanced right-leaning media made a big deal about Pete Buttigieg being gay, married, and having children, but we hear not a peep about Scott Bessent, who has a nearly identical profile with respect to his personal life.
Bessent is openly gay and married former New York City prosecutor John Freeman in 2011. They have two children, born through surrogacy.[76]
