Married Women - No Suffrage for You!

The argument is this:
The SAVE Act (proposed, purportedly, to improve election integrity) demands that, absent a passport or REAL-ID compliant document, one presents a birth certificate to prove one's identity. Since married women who have changed their last names would have names on their usual driver's licenses that differ from names on birth certificates, this will make it harder for married women to register to vote. Compared to the cohort who has not married or has not changed their names after marriage, the married women who have changed their names will have additional challenge to prove their identities to register to vote.

Yes, I’m watching this too.
Was this also in the Project 2025 playbook?

Of course they shouldn't vote. That would just mean a married man gets two votes. So unfair ....

Yes a little harder. But all states are already offering Real-ID for driver’s licenses , permits, and ID cards.
