Here’s the message: It is with a very sad heart that Sheryl asked me to relay that Kathy had another stroke a few days ago and died this morning. She had also been diagnosed with state 4 lung cancer so the only good thing in this is she won't have to suffer through that. She will be cremated and the family will decide at a later date about a memorial service. She will be missed so much. So very very sad.

Who is Sheryl?
Sheryl is her sister - she was AdagioLady (I think) on the old piano forum. She lives in the PNW and I’m pretty sure she came to one of the piano parties we had at Classical Grands in Seattle ages ago.

@kluurs I don't think she had a dog any more--though it is hard to imagine Teachum without a dog.
We finally met at a piano party for Grand Obsession at the Steinway Gallery in Spokane. We had the same piano tech for many years (Tom Kuntz, who played bass fiddle at the piano party with his trio)
Mr Pique and Steve really hit it off and the four of us had some good times that weekend. The last few years were really hard for her. She was Steve's caregiver as his health deteriorated. We were in pretty regular contact. This news is just so devastating. 🥲 -
