Anyway, I love Peridot. Green is my favorite color.
Olivine is the same mineral:

Hawai'i Island has a beach with olivine in place of sand. It's beautiful.

PSA, The hike is 2 mile by foot, or you can rent a Jeep, and the rock climbing to get down to the beach itself is difficult, so you shouldn't attempt it if you have any bone, muscle, neurological, or similar limiting health conditions. Also, it is considered a sacred spot and nakedness is strictly prohibited.

So, love peridot and honorable mention to the Victorian jewels. I think Victorian's thought it they way they thought about Siberian amethyst.

BTW,

I've bought:

1. 22" diamond cut, oval links, sterling silver, 2.5 mm. Italy? Maybe. Forgot.

I don't take it off. And I wear it with a pendant.

A couple things good and bad.

Many people say 22" is the perfect chain length for men.

This is my first 22" chain and I agree.

I've tried 18 mm, 24 mm, and 26 mm.

22 mm doesn't get in your way, isn't too short, and is perfect for adding pendants IMO.

This is what you see mainly with men's chains and have for decades.

I want a "long chain" but the one I want is made by my favorite Cartier and cost 20k.

Ok, the bad. IMO diamond cutting is a cheap trick.

They machine grooves in the links to reflect light.

That's bad enough. This process also creates countless hard edges when the links feel better when they're smooth.

2. Pendant. Silver. Hallmark. UK.

Funny thing is it didn't list the exact size or I missed it.

It's tiny.

It's beautiful if it looks like the pictures but I can't see (or not see) what the pictures show with my reading glasses.

So, $25 + $10.

I'm glad I got the sizing right finally.

It's a bracelet that hasn't arrived from Türkiye yet.

You never know when you order something until you see it but I think I'm going to like this one a lot.

That's how price points jump from factory jewelry to jewelry made by artisans although to be sure people make nice jewelry at very low price points, things like stone bead bracelets, etc.
