It reminds me of a kind of English house I've wanted (if I'm being frank) for a long time.
This kind of house is called a "dowager's house." I love them for their elegance and especially for their scaled down size.
The best example I can give is the house the Dowager Countess played by Maggie Smith lived in on Downton Abby.
I'm a minimalist at heart.

Actually, yes; it's a perfect example of a minimalist sensibility.
Other than my Georgian house and tower house fantasies, this is my favorite type of English house.

The next time I do this I'm going to buy a Florida Lotto ticket. The jackpot is $6 million. This is the lottery I remember from back in the day.
