I solved a mystery!
-
It was only a matter of time before I solved this mystery. It took almost 40 years but who's counting?
My alma mater's seal was taken from a cooking object in the national museum in Athens dating to 2800- 2700 BCE Greece.

It came from Cycladic art.
This is news to me.

I thought it was especially interesting they argued about the colors to use.
I think they made a good choice. Only blue and white. It's effective but subtle. The original drawing from the designer used a lot of red.
Interesting to see but probably not by many besides me. Lol.
I like this pattern a lot.
I found a Greek jewelry workshop that hand makes a silver signet ring
with this pattern.I'm going to buy it and wear it on my right index finger.
