The disturbing true story of Peter Pan

Disney twisted this novel and its famous protagonist Peter Pan beyond all recognition of their darkness, and gave the same treatment to its author, his actual life, and the children whose lived he destroyed through legal fraud, and deep psychological abuse.
Peter Pan, the character in the novel, is actually nihilistic and evil.
The author was badly damaged psychologically by his childhood, and was a sociopath for all intents and purposes.
Light (well, quick) viewing that gives insight into these topics, and that of Disney's twisted film by implication.
My review-- 5/5

I wish I had seen it.
There was a cable channel that made a light hearted (made for a teenage audience probably focused toward teenage girls) movie about Emily Dickinson with modern characterizations that were true to life.
It portrayed the homoerotic (psychological) relationship between Emily Dickinson and her sister-in-law and next door neighbor, Susan, openly.
The cable channel was obscure and the movie was fleeting. I wish I had seen that too.

Your response prompted me to lookup the availability of the "Once Upon A Time" series. The series is available for streaming in Disney+ and Hulu, and can be had for $21.99 for all seven seasons on YouTube. Other streaming platforms have it too but will require extra payment on top of basic subscription.
