I was cleaning out some boxes of books I had set aside and came across this tome from 1948. I think it was from my parents' house. It covers absolutely everything you need to know from home buying/building/maintenance, cooking, gardening, finances, sewing, knitting/crocheting, marriage and family, pets - you name it, it's there's a chapter for it. Even tells you how to run a small farm.
It's actually pretty fascinating. I'm looking forward to skimming through it. If you want to read it, you can check it out from the Internet Archive:
