    What heart-wrenching decision.

This Is Why Colin Farrell Wants To Put His Son With Angelman Syndrome In A Care Facility Despite He And His Ex Being In A Position To Look After Him Themselvess

We live a couple of doors down from a group home where a number of developmentally challenged women live. It seems like a very good arrangement for both the residents and their families. We see their parents come over often for visits. The parents of one of the gals are in their 70s and seem to be moving quite slowly. They have taken steps to be sure that their daughter is in a safe and comfortable environment no matter what happens to them. The women have jobs but aren’t able to live completely independently.

All in all it seems like a pretty good arrangement.

When professional staff is available, frequent visits may be better for all.
