    Considering Apple News, though I don't like paying for news.
    Podcasts are a news source that requires me to listen when I can read faster and skip the "entertaining" parts.

    What do you prefer?

      @CHAS said in New sources?:

      Same here. I read pretty fast and tend to skim articles to get the gist of the story. I don't have the patience to sit and listen to podcasts or to watch videos.

      If you're looking at Apple News I assume you're looking for an aggregator. Lifewire has a pretty good overview. I use Google News a fair bit. I look at their Home page and World.

      For specialty stuff, I subscribe to a few newsletters. Eric Topol (medical news), Paul Krugman (economics), 1440 (general), Tangle political analysis). Krugman and Tangle have paid subscriptions that give access to more content; I just do the free version.

        We have Apple News because we use enough of their services it made sense to have Apple One, which comes with it. I like it, for the most part, but occasionally we still do run up against paywalls.

          archive.is can help with paywalls. You copy the link of the paywalled article and paste it into their search of saved snapshots.

            I like the Guardian. Yahoo News works too.
