RIP Kris Kristofferson

Kris Kristofferson, who attained success as both a groundbreaking country music singer-songwriter and a Hollywood film and TV star, died Saturday at home in Maui, Hawaii. No cause of death was given, but he was described as passing away peacefully while surrounded by family. He was 88.

He wrote a lot of songs that various artists made famous and that which I still enjoy. I have an album of him singing and, while I like it, do believe he was a better songwriter than singer. RIP.

He was good. Had an album of his singing. There were some John Prine songs on it.
They were super, but very depressing as John Prine's work was.
Not something to listen to often.
He was a lucky guy because he married Rita Coolidge.
Saw somewhere in the last year that he had dementia of some sort.
