Ammo vending machines

I have mixed feeling about this story. Given the controls implemented in the vending machines, my reaction is generally positive. Unless you are opposed to the sale of guns and ammo in general (a position at odds with recognized 2nd Amendment rights), then the limitation of ammo sales to persons legally allowed to possess firearms would seem to be an infringement on that right. A gun without ammo is as useless as a vehicle without fuel.
I remember as a boy that I could walk into the local hardware store, pick up a case of 22 long rifle cartridges off the shelf, pay for them at the counter, and walk out with no questions asked.

I did not see a problem as long as they install them next to NARCAN vending machines.
