For background...I recently subscribed to Tangle, a newsletter written by Isaac Saul. From their page:

Tangle is an independent, non-partisan, subscriber-supported newsletter, read by over 125,000 people in 55+ countries across the world. Our audience is made up of conservatives, liberals, independents, and those who don't identify with any political tribe.

Every day, we tackle one big debate in American politics, then summarize the best arguments we can find from the right, left, and center on that debate.

Here's Tangle's take on the Dem platform:

His observations on the Dem convention:

I'll have a separate thread for the GOP platform. He didn't attend the GOP convention because his press credentials weren't approved.

      I liked reading his observations.
