... interviewed by Isaac Chotiner in the New Yorker.

I have never read such a delicious ambush. Spinotti probably thought he had nailed it, and Chotiner makes him look like a ridiculous ass (which he seems to be). The stiletto went in one ear and came out the other, and Spinotti never even noticed.

Crazy economist who likes to write about higher education.

Some have said the entire project was a bribe by Bezos (they more likely meant he threw some crumbs at the couple for good will).

I wouldn't mind being paid $45,000,000.00 to "promote" a movie that's sold in the neighborhood of five tickets per show in theaters world-wide.

Apparently, it's a rags to riches story of a woman who migrates to America from a poor country and works hard.

Ivana had brains, a work ethic, glamour, and charisma. Melania has none of the above.

Marla Maples seems to have been a brazen gold digger (as was Sarah Ferguson, as the rumors said from the beginning) and a blip on the radar screen.

      Ivana Trump RIP

I'll definitely read the article when it warms up. It looks interesting.

I'm concentrating on taking a cold shower at about the time the temperature will be 37 F.

Of course it was a bribe.

        Everyone knows that.

Wealth disparity was "a thing" for a long time. Now it's reached Gilded Age levels.

I bet it you took away electricity and modern appliances (and automobiles) everything would look similar to the way it did then.

Inviting scrutiny about her life story wasn't the best idea imo but they clearly know there will never be any consequences for any of it.
