Mr wtg and I have been fans of Scott's since we saw his first series on HGTV, Income Property. He's a combination real estate investor and contractor; he's from Canada, I think from the Toronto area.
Income Property was about helping homeowners select, purchase, and renovate a property that has the option of rental income. We loved it.
A few years ago he started a new series, Vacation House Rules. People who have vacation homes turn to him to renovate their properties and turn them into short term vacation rentals.
He's used some of very cool wall covering products in a couple of the rentals. The most recent one I saw was this wood slat wall that was used around a fireplace. It's listed as a soundproofing product, but he used it as a decorative feature. I found the company that makes it.

Looks like Wayfair and Home Depot both carry art3d products.

Very cool, very expensive. Call me a cynic but neither is required in a short term rental.

Yes, and I was building a vacation house for myself I’d like it even more. Scott’s good.
But vacation houses are investments. They can be art projects but that’s not the part that makes money. I’ve seen far too many influencers try to convince people that the key to a great vacation rental investment is Venetian tile.
