Teri Garr, the comic actress and singer who brought her buoyant personality to “Young Frankenstein” and was Oscar-nominated for “Tootsie,” died on Tuesday in Los Angeles after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 79.

I think I saw the tale of Letterman and Terri Garr searching through the night for a Taco Elvis or Taco Jesus in the LA area. Think it was in Esquire Was not surprised when I read later that cocaine powered the search. I was quite a story.
