Don't know if you noticed that if you do a Quick Reply, you just get a pretty basic window to create a post. If you click on the diagonal double arrow right next to Quick Reply, it gives you full screen editing. That full screen also creates a preview of what your post will actually look like and you can even test it to be sure things work the way you think. Q-L on WTF mentioned that in a post he made over there a couple of days ago. It's a nice feature to have, and it's pretty standard on modern forum software.

I'm forever and a day posting something on WTF and then having to test it when it's out there, and then to edit it when something doesn't work. Then try to find the "Edit" button....well, you get the pic.

I'm just putting the link here, there's probably a way to expand or quote it so you don't have to go to the actual post but I haven't figured out how to do it yet. How to post videos. You already figured it out, but maybe there's something else in that thread that you might want to know about.
