There was/ is a Soviet "aesthetic" that appealed/ appeals to American culture as I'm sure you guys know.

It appeals to me.

It has since I took Russian in school.

I think it's often combined with an interest in actual Russia.

To be clear, I'm not talking about communism or other economic fill in-the-blank-isms.
