<![CDATA[Regenerative braking]]>I just had my 2020 Kia Niro hybrid in for the 100k mile service. This is the first hybrid I've owned I was surprised to have the tech say my brakes and pads were 80-90%, like they must've been replaced along the way. I've had the car since new and only replaced the tires around 85k miles...

I know the electric motor can act as a generator to recharge the batteries and I try to use that as much as possible, but I didn't think the brakes would show so little wear!

Aside from a few intermittent, annoying electrical/sensor/wiring issues, it has been a great TunerMobile!

Keeps me in the lane and follows traffic ahead. Perfect when things are slow on the highways in or out of the city.

I suppose you watch where you are going. So radical.
There is a hybrid in my future. Don't know which or when.
