<![CDATA[Are our Chicago friends staying safe?]]>I just read from Chicagoans on another site I am on that there is a tornado warning for Chicago.

Tornado sirens must have gone off because I can see on the group chat from our building that people were wondering if they should head out to the hall or down to the basement. (When every Midwesterner knows that's the time to go out or up on the roof and see how bad it really is outside!!)

We are out of town so missing it all.

Tornados south of the metro Chicago area. I think there were some pretty big storms up near the Wisconsin border. My area, northwest of the city, just got some rain. Last night was worse, with some pretty significant winds. Some nice weather coming our way for the next few days.
