<p dir="auto">I live in a mobile home (technical term, trailer-- colloquial term, mobile homes manufactured after c 1980 are technically manufactured homes).</p>
<p dir="auto">I know a thing or two about it.</p>
<p dir="auto">These home that were build in 1943 were not much different than manufactured homes today.</p>
<p dir="auto">They were built cookie cutter style in suburban developments but used mass production and assembly line methods.</p>
<p dir="auto">The result was the house would last the life of the mortgage if it was maintained well enough.</p>
<p dir="auto">In contrast, the oldest inhabited house in Europe dates to c 1040.</p>
<p dir="auto">I'm glad Florida has concrete block on concrete slab housing stock built between the '40's through the '70's.</p>
<p dir="auto">The units in condo buildings are a steal because the market for sellers is bad and projected to get worse through this year.</p>
<p dir="auto">The single family houses are still selling for very high prices.</p>
